2024 Dates:
- May 13 – 17, 2024
Times: 9am to 5pm (subject to change based on river levels)
Location: Kanananskis River (river level dependent)

Price: $850 per person (+GST)
Assessments Available: Safety kayaker/Raft Guide/Trip leader
During the workshop, students will have the opportunity to be assessed for:
- Guide – Level 3/4
- Trip Leader – Level 3/4
- Safety Kayaker – Level 3/4
Pre-requisites & administration fees
Please provide the following documents at least 7 days prior to attending the workshop:
• Valid First Aid certificate that must include CPR
• Up-to-date experience log-book or experience letter recording your commercial
experience.
What is included in the cost?
- All tuition
- Rafts & paddles
- River shuttles
What is not included in the cost
- IRF administration fees
- Personal medical and travel insurance
- Personal protective equipment
- Travel to and from the training venue
- Personal accommodation
